The Kundalini Yoga Community is ever growing in the Northeast. Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan, which is known as the Yoga of awareness does exactly what it says on the tin, it raises your awareness. Those who havent heard this phase before, what that means is it gives you a deeper understanding of who you are and how you operate, so you dont have to react in the same old ways you always have done, it helps you to accept your emotions and relax into Gods comforting embrace, knowing that whatever is happening is happening for a reason, you can ask yourself what are the lessons in this experience and develop such a deeper sense of inner peace that life becomes a whole lot easier.
This type of Yoga I found has so much more depth and meaning than any other Yoga I have tired, Kundalini isn’t just a Yoga practice, its a lifestyle choice, a way of life. Which I can confirm as I’m sure a number of students will too, is transformational in the most wonderful ways.
